ETF2L 6v6 Season 20
Overview | Premiership | High | Mid | Open |

Season 20 was the twentieth season of ETF2L's 6v6 competition, supported by Tt eSPORTS.
Signups opened on January 7th and extended to close on January 28th for every division with the exception of the premiership tier who had their signups close on January 23rd. The postponement of the sign up dates were put down to, according to the ETF2L team, the lack of sign ups for the season and the late map pool announcement. The main season began on February 1st.
In this season, ETF2L removed cp_granary, introduced cp_sunshine and leaving in cp_logjam, a decision which seems to have bothered a handful of members in the ETF2L community. In addition to this change, ETF2L has decided to change their timetable system to what they call, a "Swiss" system, implying that a stricter schedule is in place. This rids ETF2L of the "wildcard" system. With this change also came the introduction of four tiers as opposed to the seven divisions. These four divisions are; Open (Tier 4), consisting of prior skill levels of division 5 and 6, Mid (Tier 3), consisting of prior skill levels of division 4 and 3, High (Tier 2), consisting prior skill levels of division 2 and 1, and Prem (Tier 1), consisting of prior skill level of the premiership division.
Season 20 also featured a community crowd funding system running to help contribute to the prize pool and provide cash prizes for winners of the top three tiers along with items for the winners of the Open tier. The fund successfully reached the goal of €3,000 on 2nd March 2015 and amounted to a total of €3,427 by 8th March 2015, the fund raising deadline. More information can be found on ETF2L's indiegogo campaign[1] which includes perks given out to contributors.
Prizes were finalised and announced[2] after the main season was over.
Maps[edit | edit source]
cp_logjam_b19 was released hours before Week 4 had started. Teams were given the option to play on cp_logjam_b18 if both teams agreed or cp_logjam_b19 if there were any or no disputes. The creator of the map claimed that he was asked to update the map by an ETF2L admin due to some unfair map spots.
